Here’s some gorgeous Halloween-inspired knitting for you… Bernadette (grade3 on Ravelry) knit this stunning version of the Boo Knits Mystery Shawl, Morticia.

It was really a great idea for a mystery knit-along! The premise is that Boo Knits releases one clue per week in October and the grand unveiling of everyone’s shawls happens on October 31st! And Bernadette’s version in Ultraviolet is so decadent-looking… here’s what she said about our Merino Silk Lace yarn:

The yarn was a pleasure to knit. It is buttery soft, but not slippery and has great stitch definition. I love the depth achieved by the variation in the hue: from navy to hints of fuschia all blending to create a gorgeous deep purple.

I’ve queued the pattern, despite the fact that I missed the KAL. It’s just a beautiful crescent lace shawl, I think it looks like it would be so much fun to knit.
