Ribbon Twist: delivered and swatched

Ribbon Twist in Ripple arrived from KnitNTyme yesterday. They are FAST. Plus, how ideal is it that they are in Canada AND stock tons of Phildar? Here’s my package (it came in its own plastic zippered bag!):

So I swatched last night… It’s supposed to be 8 stitches by 11 rows to 10 cm. But the yarn is a little unwieldy to use (it’s got a mind of its own) and I think in my efforts to wrangle it in, my swatch ended up a little too tight (I got 9 x 11 for 10 cm):

So, I frogged and re-knitted it, a little more relaxed and I got it!

Yay, now when I finish Zara, Audrey, and Cheesylove… I can start on Willow! Then I’ll just have my eyelash project, the bucket hat and the French Market bags to do… THEN I can start something for the DH.

How did you make out with Willow? I was just surfing for info on the yarn and this pattern and came across your blog. I’d be curious to hear what your overall impression was, assuming you’ve finished it. It looks gorgeous! Thanks, Katherine
